Not a family council.
I almost stayed home.
My wrist hurt.
My marriage felt poisonous.
Then Trent said:
“If you don’t come, everyone knows.”
I answered:
“Maybe everyone should.”
His face went still.
We arrived separately.
I carried the phone containing the camera copy.
Also screenshots of messages.
My attorney had told me:

Just preserve.
I did not plan to confront Trent.
Then, upstairs near the lounge, he asked:
“Did you send anything to Alessio?”
“No.”
“Let me see your phone.”
“No.”
“You’re my wife.”
“That doesn’t make my phone yours.”
He grabbed my good wrist.
I pulled away.
“Stop.”
“You have stolen work documents.”
“I gave them to counsel.”
His face changed.
“What?”
There.
He had not known.
I walked toward the women’s bathroom.
He followed.
“Give me the phone.”
I entered.
Locked the door.
