I filed for divorce.
Our prenup was straightforward.
My premarital townhouse stayed mine.
My inherited investments stayed mine.
Trent’s premarital property stayed his.
Joint savings divided according to agreement.
No children.
No custody war.
No hidden fortune.
No revenge transfer.
Trent sought temporary spousal support.
His income during suspension had dropped.
The prenup limited support.
Court enforced most of it.
He did not lose everything.
That annoyed some relatives.
I did not care.
Divorce was not supposed to become the punishment system criminal court could not provide.
Then his career.
If acquitted, could he return?
In theory, maybe.
The company conduct policy allowed reinstatement depending findings.
But his senior appointment also required trust and judgment.
The bathroom video existed.
Even if every stair allegation failed, breaking a locked bathroom door to seize a spouse’s phone was not consistent with leading a security company.
