Martha’s messages with Greg were ugly because they were ordinary.
Martha:
Cast smells.
Greg:
Then wash outside.
Martha:

Then:
He says fingers numb.
Greg:
He’s dramatic.
Later:
Frontier wants new ortho note before releasing next 32k.
Martha:
We need real appointment.
Greg:
After bruises fade.
Martha:
How long?
Greg:
Another week.
There it was.
Not murder.
Not deliberate sepsis.
Delay for money and concealment.
Then a message four days before ER:
Martha:
He has fever.
Greg:
If hospital opens cast everything is over.
Martha:
What if infection?
Greg:
Antibiotics urgent care.
Martha:
They’ll remove it.
Greg:

Then wait.
