“I don't know how to fix it.”

“You can't fix the past.”

“But you can stop making it worse.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means you don't get to demand forgiveness.”
Doreen's eyes filled with tears.
Taryn felt no satisfaction.
Only sadness.
