The carriage shed was renovated.
I expected Donna to demand the kennel removed.
She didn’t.
The nonprofit asked.
Donna said:
“Take it out.”
“Destroy it?”
“I don’t care.”
It was sold as scrap steel.
No museum piece.
No symbolic burning.
Metal became metal.
The safe went to document storage after litigation.
Later returned to the trust archive.
Donna never wanted it.
