Chapter 17 - THE SPECIAL FAMILY RESERVE

Rina Patel—our forensic accountant—traced the $203,000 “special family reserve.”
It funded:
Legal consultations about Grace.
Private investigators.
Reputation management.
Surveillance.
Draft guardianship paperwork.
And $48,000 paid to Meridian Child & Family Consulting.
What was that?
A company owned by Dr. Alan Pierce.
Former child psychologist.
He had never met Sophia.
Yet he submitted memos describing Grace as:
Housing unstable.
Emotionally volatile.
Potentially alienating.
Why?
He reviewed “family reports” provided by Victoria’s office.
Not ethical clinical diagnosis.
But enough to decorate paperwork.
Dr. Pierce later said:
“I believed I was preparing a risk memo for internal planning.”
He should have asked more.
He did not invent everything.
May you like
He repeated biased inputs professionally.
That made them look legitimate.
