Chapter 9 - THE FILE CALLED STABILITY

Police obtained Brielle’s care file through lawful process after Tessa showed them screenshots and Brielle’s devices became relevant.

The file was titled:

JUNE — STABILITY.

Inside:

Care logs.

Photographs.

Text screenshots.

Pediatric appointment notes.

A timeline.

Brielle had marked Tessa’s difficult moments in red.

Crying.

Fatigue.

One missed vitamin.

One night of expressed frustration.

A photograph of dirty pump parts in a sink.

Another of Tessa asleep on a sofa while Daniel held June.

Then:

Protective factors — Marlow Estate.

24-hour staff.

Brielle available.

Eudora available.

Nursery ready.

Security.

Driver.

Private pediatric access.

Then:

Risk factors — Tessa.

Postpartum exhaustion.

Strong dependency on Alphonse.

Resistance to support.

Emotional reactions.

Unwillingness to share caregiving.

No physician diagnosed Tessa as incapable.

No therapist.

No social worker.

No child-protection agency.

This was a family dossier pretending to be clinical.

Then a note:

If Tessa leaves with June for Greco residence, establish existing Marlow care pattern before move.

There.

They were not merely helping.

They were building a story.

One final line:

Goal before Daniel returns from Denver: June sleeps east wing, Tessa signs consent, Brielle listed as secondary caregiver.
