Ethan’s custodial component was short.
Months, not years.
His corporate obstruction investigation later produced a separate plea for false transaction certification.
That added probation and fiduciary restrictions rather than dramatic imprisonment because his conduct was narrower than Vivian’s broader strategy.
He never returned to Blackwood executive leadership.
He eventually worked in hotel development for an unrelated mid-sized company under disclosure requirements.
Rose’s contact expanded slowly.
Supervised.
Then unsupervised daytime.
No overnights until she was eight and professionals supported it.
I hated the first overnight.
I still allowed it.
Fear is not evidence by itself.
When Rose returned, she said:
“Daddy snores.”
