Mom’s veto had preserved them.
It had also delayed necessary investment.
Legacy can become another word for avoidance.

Architect.
Employee representative.
Historian.
Finance expert.
Local community member.
One family seat.

Major sale or redevelopment required broad approval.
I voluntarily limited my unilateral veto through trust policy where legally allowed.
