Sabrina did not go to trial on every count.
Her attorney negotiated.
She admitted:
Unlawful restraint related to Grace.
Child endangerment.
Participation in coercive conduct.
Evidence-tampering conspiracy involving requested deletion.
Financial false statements tied to Sabrina-linked trust invoices.
She did not admit designing the entire guardianship strategy.
Evidence showed Margaret led much of that.
She did admit knowing the haircut was intended partly to provoke me.
At the plea hearing:
“Why did you cut the child’s hair?”
Sabrina swallowed.
“I was angry.”
“At Grace?”
“At Anna.”
“Grace was four.”
“Yes.”
“Did you understand she did not consent?”
“Yes.”
“Did she beg you to stop?”
“Yes.”
That was enough.
The prosecutor did not make her repeat the dog comment.
No need.
She also admitted she benefited financially from related-party arrangements that should have been disclosed more clearly.
Restitution.
Fiduciary bar.
No unsupervised contact with Grace.
Her sentence included a short custodial term followed by probation and treatment.
Not decades.
Not nothing.
Her cooperation in the financial investigation reduced exposure.
She lost control of her event company after restructuring debts.
Later rebuilt smaller.
