Twenty-five hours community service.
Family-boundaries course.
No direct contact with Elspeth except by our agreement.
No jail.
My diversion:
Completed later.
No conviction if successful.
Different resolutions.
Maude complained:
“Ainsley kicked me.”
My name is Tavia, but maybe not. Keep:
“Tavia kicked me.”

Her attorney said:
“That is separately handled.”

One wrong did not erase another.
Then I explained to Elspeth.
“Grandma has a court rule.”
“What rule?”
“She can’t contact you unless Dad and I agree right now.”
“Because chair?”
“Because of what happened.”
“And you?”
“I have my class.”

“Yes.”
