The recovered deleted recording began twenty-two minutes before the active one.
Dustin and Judith in the upstairs hall.
No Meadow yet.
Dustin positioned the phone.
Judith:
“This angle?”
Dustin:
“Door needs to be visible.”
Judith:
“What if she doesn’t touch me?”
Dustin:
“She will.”
Judith laughed.
“You sound confident.”
Dustin:
“You don’t know Avery when she thinks someone hurt Meadow.”
My stomach twisted.
He knew me.
That was how he weaponized me.
Then:
“Keep the camera running when Avery gets here. If she touches Mom, we finally have what the lawyer needs.”
The room in Rebecca’s office went silent.
The video continued.
Judith:
“And Meadow?”
Dustin:
“Just cut enough to make the point.”
Judith:
“She’ll fight.”
Dustin:
“Good. That shows the behavior.”
Then:
“After the review, Mom keeps provider status. Once custody is settled, everything gets easier.”
