Ashley admitted creating several forms with my copied signature.
Her lawyer called it:
“Misguided family financial management.”
The prosecutor called it forgery.
The final criminal resolution involved fraud and forgery-related counts tied to specific documents and attempted financial benefit.
First offense.
Restitution available.
No violence.
She entered a plea resulting in probation, restitution, financial-crime counseling requirements, and community service rather than a long custodial sentence.
People online called it too light after the cake video spread.
The cake was not why she was charged.
Law should not become comment-section revenge.
Ashley also had to tell Emma why Summit Crest was gone.
