Chapter 17 - THE TRUST FREEZE

Mountain West Fiduciary froze all discretionary family-directed transfers pending independent review.

Not Noah’s school.

Not Emma’s essential education.

No child lost medical coverage.

The freeze targeted extraordinary transfers and family reimbursements.

Ashley called it:

“You froze Emma’s life.”

No.

The school remained.

She would need to pay or choose another.

The $28,400 academy place expired.

Ashley blamed me.

Emma cried.

I felt terrible.

Those feelings did not change the answer.
