Leo also created a modest grant program from his own distributable funds.
Not named after him.
It supported families navigating pediatric malpractice settlements with independent financial counseling.
Why?
“Because nobody should have to understand trust administration while their baby is in ICU.”
That was fair.
He did not turn his whole life into advocacy.
The grant was one part.
He remained an engineer.
