Drafted by Vance family counsel.
Not filed.
It anticipated:
Postpartum psychiatric emergency.
Threatening conduct.
Possible child-safety intervention.
Temporary transfer of maternal protector rights to an independent fiduciary selected by the Vance advisory committee.
Who sat on that committee?
Victoria.
Ethan.
Two independent professionals.
Would Victoria directly control Harper’s trust?
No.
But she could nominate the replacement.
That mattered.
The draft contained blank spaces.
DATE OF INCIDENT.
DESCRIPTION OF THREAT.
CLINICAL SUPPORT.
POLICE REPORT NUMBER.
They were waiting for an event.
Not necessarily planning the exact event.
Waiting.
The celebration supplied one.
My threat became Exhibit A in the actual petition Ethan later filed.
My psychiatric history became Exhibit B.
Blackwell surveillance summaries Exhibit C.
The hidden camera was not there to capture sentimental family memories.
It was there to fill blanks.
Why did family counsel prepare such a document?
The attorney, Peter Hale, testified under subpoena.
“Victoria asked us to plan for a potential refusal arising from postpartum incapacity.”
“Refusal of what?”
“Transaction consent.”
“Was Maya considered incapacitated when you drafted it?”
“No.”
“Then why draft?”
“Contingency planning.”

Peter said he warned them a disagreement with a transaction did not equal incapacity.
He also warned postpartum anxiety did not transfer legal authority automatically.
The draft included those safeguards.
The version filed after the party removed some.

Not Peter’s firm.
He withdrew from representation after learning.

Then we found a second document.
A corporate consent form.

The morning before Harper’s celebration.
It already listed the substitute protector’s name.

Sounds independent.
It was.
But the proposed individual officer?
Margaret Vance.
Victoria’s cousin.
Conflict.

That looked like the scheme.

Why such desperation?
