The appellate court found the jury instruction failed to distinguish unauthorized temporary use from permanent misappropriation clearly enough.
One conviction vacated.
His forged-record conspiracy conviction remained.
His assault and child-endangerment convictions remained.
Sentence adjusted modestly.
