Chapter 24 - TYLER BUILDS SOMETHING

Tyler became a product designer.
His senior project:
A modular storage system for small apartments.
Karen laughed.
“After all that property drama, you design closets?”
“Trauma manifests.”
He had inherited family humor.
He started a small company.
Did not ask Westbridge for capital.
Not because family money was dirty.
Because he wanted outside investors.
Ben offered advice.
Not cash.
Karen asked:
“Are you sure?”
Tyler:
“Yes.”
His company did well enough.
Not billion-dollar miracle.
Profitable.
Real.
He eventually bought a condo.
Diane cried when he showed her the deed.
Tyler said:
“Please don’t create a branch.”
She laughed.
