Clara discovered the email about my signature.
Signature looks lifted.
She packed a suitcase.
Not because she suddenly became morally pure.
Because Silas had told her:
“Bennett signed everything.”
She confronted him.
He said:
“Your dad told me he approved.”
“You questioned the signature.”
“I questioned formatting.”
“You wrote lifted.”
“Meaning copied digitally.”
“Exactly.”
He grabbed her arm during the argument.
Not assault causing injury.
Enough.
She left.
