Connor’s gaming console too.
Helen bought the bicycle from personal savings.
The humiliation had not been funded by the fraudulent loan.
Good.
Truth did not need decoration.
The cheap rocking horse had been retrieved from the dumpster behind my parents’ garage three days before Christmas.

She claimed the wood was cracked and she was “clearing clutter.”
Then Clara suggested wrapping it for Josephine as a joke.
