One conviction involving attempted authentication was vacated because the jury instruction had combined two theories too broadly.
The core fraud, bribery, coercion-conspiracy, and obstruction convictions remained.
His sentence decreased modestly.

Maya shrugged.
“Law corrected itself.”
I had learned not to treat accuracy as betrayal.
