Beatrice pleaded guilty to obstruction and conspiracy relating to witness interference.
She admitted telling Chloe to delete messages.
Admitted instructing a staff member to remove guesthouse access logs after federal subpoenas were anticipated.
Admitted she knew investigators would care about Chloe’s movements.
She did not admit forging my signature.
Evidence did not show that.
She received home confinement, probation, community-service obligations, financial penalties, and permanent restrictions from Vance family governance roles.
Some people called it too lenient.
Her role was not Arthur’s.
No prior record.
Age.
Cooperation after plea.
Sentencing should distinguish.
My own relationship with her remained nonexistent.
She requested photographs of Evelyn through counsel.
I said no.
Later, when Evelyn was three and a therapist evaluated family contact, I considered one supervised video.
Then Beatrice sent a letter.

The therapist screened it.
“I applauded when your father hurt your mother. That was wrong. I chose family pride over protecting you.”
