Police found Marissa’s car at a bus terminal.
Her phone remained beneath the driver’s seat.
No evidence immediately proved abduction.
Her bank account showed a $30,000 payment from Gentle Path the night before she vanished.
Gwendolyn claimed severance.
Marissa’s sister said she had been planning to testify.
Detective Quinn obtained a warrant for Gentle Path’s cloud records.
The capacity video appeared inside a deleted folder.
Florence sat at her kitchen table.
Her eyelids drooped.
Gwendolyn remained just outside the frame.
Dr. Price asked basic questions.
Florence gave the wrong month and struggled to name the president.
She correctly identified her address, property, son, and the reason Gwendolyn wanted documents signed.
“I don’t want the farm sold,” she said.
The uploaded clinical report omitted that sentence.
It described global confusion and inability to understand financial decisions.
Dr. Price watched the original and turned pale.
“I never saw this version.”
His assistant had edited the file before upload.
The assistant, Jenna Vale, admitted Gwendolyn paid her through Gentle Path.
Jenna claimed she believed the removed statements were irrelevant rambling.
She also admitted scheduling the assessment after Gwendolyn confirmed Florence had taken her “calming medication.”
The video did not identify the property’s hidden ownership.
It established that Florence opposed the sale and had capacity in key areas despite sedation.
The judge paused the Silver Birch closing for seventy-two hours.
That was not a final victory.
Silver Birch argued it relied on professional documents: deed, capacity report, notary certification, and trust termination.
If Vincent, Paul, Gwendolyn, and Gentle Path had created a complete false package, the buyer might still claim financial remedies.
North Coast searched its off-site archive for the missing beneficiary schedule.
The physical index led to a film reel damaged by heat.
Technicians began restoration.
Gwendolyn appeared at the title hearing under temporary release conditions.
She looked at Florence’s wheelchair and showed no shame.
Her attorney argued Florence’s abuse allegations resulted from my influence after the slap.
Then Claire played the capacity video.
Florence’s voice filled the courtroom.
I don’t want the farm sold.
Gwendolyn’s expression hardened.
The judge asked who had approved deletion of that statement.
No one answered.
At 4:42 p.m., North Coast’s technician emailed a recovered image.
The beneficiary schedule appeared blurred but readable.
Maple Hollow was not owned by Florence in the way the county deed suggested.
