Bodie’s first beneficiary meeting disappointed him.
“So I don’t own the mountain?”
“No.”
“Cabin?”

“Possibly through ordinary family arrangements, not because you control the property.”
Bodie looked at me.
“This inheritance is paperwork.”
“Yes.”

He liked animals.

He named his first research project after it as a joke.
