At the hearing, Lily sat in a private room rather than the courtroom.
The judge recognized her as Lily Claire Blackwood, biological daughter of Ethan and Claire Blackwood.
The name change was optional.
Lily chose it after speaking with her advocate.
“Nora gave me Hale.”
“Do you want to lose it?” the advocate asked.
Lily thought for a long time.
“I want Mommy’s name.”
Claire’s legal death declaration was suspended pending formal correction.
The trust transferred to independent control.
Victor lost every corporate vote.
