The family education trust did not need dramatic destruction.
It needed governance.
Reforms:
Professional administrator.
Direct receipts from schools.
No family administrator approving unusual donations alone.
Institutional contributions above $25,000 require independent verification of purpose.
Academic-advancement grants require school-certified eligibility.
Children’s portfolios cannot be submitted as trust evidence without school source verification.
No rankings shared across cousin branches.
That last one came from Mom.
Good.
The Founders’ Advancement Grant remained.
Why eliminate a useful benefit because one person misused it?
Future descendants could qualify.
My niece could reapply later with genuine work.
So could Ivo.
Neither did.
Good.
Education did not need to become trust competition again.
The returned Alden donation went back to Melisande’s branch reserve.

Not to Ivo.
