Sarah requested a proffer.
No immunity.
Her attorney said she would tell the full dock story.
She admitted Helen had paid her company far beyond normal communications work.
She admitted participating in the behavioral photographs.
She admitted mocking Mia when the child cried.
She admitted knowing the trust amendment might be invalid.
Then the dock.
Helen told Sarah they needed one final “supervision incident.”
Nothing severe.
A tantrum.
A near-fall.
A scene where Elena looked negligent.
Sarah was angry because Mia touched her wedding train with dirty hands.
She grabbed the child’s wrist.
Mia tried to run toward me.
Sarah pushed her away.
“Hard?”
“No.”
“Enough to move a four-year-old?”
“Yes.”
“Toward the service steps?”
“I wasn’t thinking.”
The gate was gone.
Mia fell.
Sarah panicked.
Instead of calling a medic immediately, she looked for Helen.
That delay lasted twenty-three seconds.
Twenty-three seconds felt monstrous on video.
Then I arrived.
“Did Helen tell you Elena would lose custody?”
“She said temporary guardianship might be necessary.”
“Did you know you were supposed to become family-office director?”
“Yes.”
“Did you expect to make decisions around Mia?”
“Communications only.”
“Did you know the position paid almost a million dollars?”
“Yes.”
“Did you believe the island belonged to Helen and Robert?”
“I believed they controlled it.”
That distinction mattered.
Sarah had been greedy.
Cruel.
Complicit.
Also deceived about some legal structure.
She knew enough to be responsible without knowing everything.
Greg’s role remained murkier.
He admitted knowing the amendment was disputed.
He claimed Robert guaranteed it would be ratified.
He denied knowing anyone planned to harm Mia.
No messages placed him in behavioral planning.
He did know about the medical petition concept.

Then handle family before closing.
Ugly.
Not direct child-abuse instruction.

Sarah faced child endangerment, battery involving a minor, conspiracy, evidence manipulation, and fraud-related charges.
Helen and Robert faced more serious conspiracy counts.
Greg faced financial fraud, false lender representations, and conspiracy to use invalid trust documents.
Whether he joined child-abuse conspiracy remained under review.
Hale Hospitality’s management contract was suspended.
A professional resort operator took temporary control.
Staff remained employed.
