Ward Capital froze the $4.6 million after receiving the court order.
Celeste’s father claimed the transfer repaid a legitimate development deposit.
The underlying contract had been created three days earlier and backdated six months.
Arthur’s digital signature was genuine.
Celeste’s father’s signature was not.
The attempted transfer connected Arthur to a second layer of fraud, but it still did not explain Mom’s sealed documents.
The company’s independent directors suspended Arthur.
He responded by telling employees Grandpa intended to liquidate Williams Residential Group and take the money for us.
Workers panicked.
Two assisted-living facilities delayed vendor payments.
Nora urged Grandpa to support temporary independent management.
He agreed, even though it reduced his own authority.
Arthur called that surrender.
Grandpa called it proof that no family member should control every answer.
The family court appointed a guardian ad litem for us.
She asked where we wanted to live.
April pointed at Grandpa.
Rachel said, “Anywhere Dad can’t sign our names.”
I said I wanted Arthur to tell the truth before asking us to call him our father.
The guardian did not promise that would happen.
Arthur sought visitation again.
The judge denied it after reviewing his abandonment statement, financial filings, and attempts to contact us through Celeste.
Then the recorder’s first authenticated excerpt became available to investigators.
We were not allowed to hear it.
Nora told us only that Mom’s voice was clear and Arthur’s voice appeared on at least one file.
Arthur’s attorneys argued the voice could be edited.
Experts began verification.
A former company bookkeeper named Samuel Reed contacted the forensic accountant.
He had processed payments for Mom before she died.
He said Arthur ordered him to label several transfers as “daughter support,” although none reached us.
Samuel agreed to bring original records.
He never arrived.
His car was found beside the river with the door open.
Police located him hours later at a bus station.
He admitted Arthur’s private investigator had shown him photographs of his wife and warned that testifying would expose her medical debts.
Samuel entered protective custody.
He produced a ledger showing years of money moved from accounts carrying our names.
At the bottom was a handwritten note from Mom:
THEY ARE NOT BORROWING FROM THE GIRLS. THEY ARE REPLACING THE GIRLS ON PAPER.
