Chapter 14 - THE END

The final probate hearing lasted three days.
It did not begin with Victoria in handcuffs before a cheering courtroom. Her criminal charges remained separate. She appeared by secure video for portions relevant to the guardianship and invoked her right not to answer questions that could affect her criminal case.
The probate judge evaluated documents, capacity, fiduciary conduct, and immediate safety.
Rebecca presented the evidence in sequence.
The original preservation trust.
Grandfather’s letter.
Grandma’s veterans-center amendment.
The coerced revocation.
The forged military emails.
The altered care logs.
The financial transfers.

The notary testified that he saw no overt threat but acknowledged Victoria controlled the setting, selected the witnesses, supplied the documents, and presented my forged consent.
The independent evaluator explained that Grandma’s present mild impairment did not prevent her from understanding the estate or expressing consistent preferences.
Dr. Patel described dehydration, malnutrition, bruising, and excessive sedation without claiming certainty beyond the medical evidence.
Thomas testified in person after receiving stitches.
