When testing confirmed a girl, Victoria wrote:

She had already prepared a calendar for my next pregnancy.
A separate file concerned Ethan’s extramarital relationship with a Vance Foundation employee named Claire Donovan.
Ethan began seeing Claire during my seventh month of pregnancy.
Victoria knew.
