Damon pleaded guilty.
Not to every charge.
The agreement resolved the federal case with one felony count tied to making materially false representations in the financing process and one related conspiracy count dismissed under the terms after sentencing? Let's keep simple: one felony count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, with other counts dismissed at sentencing.
He admitted:
He knew I had not approved the waterfront transaction.
He allowed a consent document to be presented as though approval existed.
He failed to disclose his financial interest in Meridian to the lender in the required manner.
He coordinated with Lacey on documents supporting the financing.
He did not admit planning the kennel as part of the fraud.

Separate.
Sentencing guidelines were complicated by no completed loss to the bank because the loan never funded.

Potential loss.
Sophisticated means.
Acceptance of responsibility.
No prior criminal history.
The judge sentenced him to a term of imprisonment shorter than tabloid speculation but long enough to be real, followed by supervised release, restitution for investigative and legal losses where appropriate, and financial restrictions.
I will not turn it into a revenge number.

Then I signed.
